CKD hands over school buses to institute

The CKD management handed over new ultra-modern 30 and 42-seater school buses to Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, running under it in Ajnala, Batala (three buses), Nawan Pind, Rasoolpur Kalan, S. Desa Singh Majitha School and CKD Schools established at Kasel, Asal Utar in Tarn Taran district.

CKD president Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar and secretary Swinder Singh Kathunangal jointly said that these buses are equipped with new technologies, including medical aid, GPS for route monitoring and modern fire extinguishers, with speed limit facilities.

They said that keeping in mind the safety and convenience of the students, the management is also providing new buses (30/42 seater) equipped with modern, hi-tech facilities to two more other CKD schools established at Piddi and Naushehra Dhalla in Tarn Taran so that students coming from far-flung villages, especially primary school children, can reach in less time with all comfort and ease. A transport committee has also been established at the head office in which qualified and experienced CKD members have been included.
