Tarn Taran, August 4
The local district Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Jatha in its meeting held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Alwinderpal Singh Pakhoke, district president, called the rebel leaders of the party to come back to the party fold and work for the people of Punjab.
Pakhoke said it was a matter for concern that the new generation was unaware of the SAD’s contribution for the progress of the state. He said the leadership must come forward and make people aware of the sacrifices made by the SAD leaders for the welfare of Punjab.
Pakhoke commenting on the allegation being levelled by Pardeep Kaler former political leader of Dera Sacha Sauda blaming for the involvement of Sukhbir Singh Badal for the sacrilege incidents by calling it to misled people.
He said at this crucial period the party needs unity and the rebel are free to put their grievances in the party forum. SGPC member Gurbachan Singh Karumuwala , Kuldeep Singh Aulakh, Prem Singh Pannu, Dalbir Singh Jahangir and other too addressed the gathering on the occasion.
