Youth Services Department (Amritsar) Assistant Director Preet Kohli has instructed all the programme officials of the Red Ribbon Clubs of the district that each organisation must organize at least one blood donation camp during the session 2024-25.

He was addressing an advocacy meeting of Red Ribbon Clubs at the local Sarup Rani Government College on Monday. Meanwhile, the grant received from the head office was also distributed to the programme officials, representatives of all the Red Ribbon Clubs and the Red Ribbon Clubs of the district were informed about the work to be done during 2024-25.

Kohli reviewed the activities conducted during the 2023-24 session, while information was also given regarding the activities conducted under the Red Ribbon Clubs during the year 2024-25. Apart from 25 Red Ribbon Nodal Officers of Amritsar district, more than 59 Peer Educators of different colleges were also present during the event.

Kohli said due to these clubs, direct contact has been established with the colleges, nursing colleges, polytechnic colleges of the district and youth outreach activities have been streamlined.
