Officials said further investigation is underway to unravel the backward and forward linkages, identify other members of the network, and track the finances and supply channels associated with the consignment.

The official said that the Punjab police along with other sister agencies has intensified border-area surveillance and intelligence coordination to curb the flow of narcotics into the state.
