DAV College, Amritsar, organised its 66th annual convocation with Cabinet Minister for Power and Energy, Government of Punjab, Harbhajan Singh ETO, as the chief guest. ETO is also an alumnus of the college. Dr Pooja Vyas, Director (A&F), ICPR, New Delhi, was the guest of honour.

Principal of DAV College, Dr Amardeep Gupta, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the institution’s rich legacy of academic excellence, holistic development and its unwavering commitment to value-based education.

Minister Harbhajan Singh ETO, while addressing the gathering, urged the graduates to embrace challenges, uphold ethical values and contribute meaningfully to society. He emphasised the importance of innovation, resilience and lifelong learning in today’s dynamic world. Sharing his experience at the college as a student, he acknowledged the contribution of his teachers and the institution, deeming it a matter of honour to grace the convocation of the college from where he received his degree.

Chief guest Pooja Vyas said, “The values and experiences gained should get imbibed into your lifestyles. Your education must add value to society.”

The principal along with the dignitaries released the college annual magazine ‘Indradhanush’.
