During her visit, she met the applicants who came for registration and took their feedback about the department and offices. Apart from this, she saw the record of yesterday’s registries and instructed the officials that it should be ensured that the registries are signed and handed over to the owners the same day. Mutation of all registries should be done immediately.

Interestingly, she called Sukhwinder Kaur who had made a lease yesterday and took details from her about the experience at the Registrar’s Office.

The Deputy Commissioner found the display screen in the Registrar’s Office, on which the number is given to people who came for registration, damaged. She immediately instructed the officials to replace it. Besides, she directed the staff to send a demand for the cupboards to store record.

She observed that there is a water cooler outside the Registrar’s Office, but there is no water cooler inside the office. She directed the staff to install a cooler inside the premises.
