“It is essential that citizens do not have to wait unnecessarily and that services are provided strictly according to the scheduled time slots,” said the DC. “Proper seating arrangements and other facilities must be ensured for the comfort of the public, particularly in this hot weather,” she added. Reiterating the commitment of the Punjab Government, the DC emphasized that every citizen should receive government services in a corruption-free and transparent manner. “Government offices must become centres of public trust, not frustration. Any required changes to improve the experience of the public must be implemented without delay,” she added.

The Deputy Commissioner directed all officials concerned to make sure that every visitor to the registrar offices completes their work without facing any inconvenience. She stressed that citizen satisfaction should be top priority of every government office. The visit comes as part of the district administration’s ongoing initiative to assess service delivery on the ground and ensure alignment with the state government’s mission for accessible, efficient, and honest governance.

Accompanying her during the inspection were Additional Deputy Commissioner Jyoti Bala, SDM Gursimran Singh Dhillon, District Revenue Officer Navkirat Singh and other senior officials.
