An international conference, Diplomathon Global 2019-2020, concluded at Mount Litera Zee School here on Sunday.

The school hosted many schools from across the country and city. Diplomathon is a young organisation which conducts the simulation of conferences for students across 25 cities in India and internationally.

The students discussed and acted as the representatives and diplomats from various countries and came up with their solutions via dialogue and debate. The conference brings out the advancement of academics and development of problem solving skills, and helps them being a person who can communicate well and adhere to the need of the hour.

Chief Guest for the opening ceremony, Deputy Commissioner, Shivdular Singh Dhillon flagged off the ceremony and shared his words of wisdom accumulated through his experience with young diplomats.

Director Manjot Dhillon stated that to impart sensitivity and critical thinking in the students has become of utmost important so that they can experience the process of self actualisation and attain holistic education. She said in the era of globalisation, where any information is just one click away and the lack of gap leads to uncertainty, the overall growth and development of the students in order to equip them to face any challenge cannot be ignored. Further, Diplomathon Global team honoured Manjot with a token of appreciation for hosting the conference.
