The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) organised a seminar of women officers working in various departments regarding problems faced by women in society and at their place of work at Guru Nanak Dev University College, Chungh (Bhikhiwind), on Tuesday.

The seminar held on the instructions of the National Commission for Women was attended by ASHA and Anganwari workers, staff from the educational institutions besides officials of different departments.

Advocate Navjot Kaur Chabba and Anita Gulshan, in-charge of ‘Sakhi One Stop Centre’, spoke about issues like domestic violence, torture for dowry and other crime against women.
