The BSF has yet again foiled another smuggling bid to smuggle drugs by intercepting a drone in the Uttar Dhariwal village area near the International Border here. Three packets of contraband, besides two mobile phones, one attached with the drone, were seized.

“Last evening, the troops intercepted a suspected flying object in the border area of the district and promptly tracked, traced its movement and neutralised it,” the BSF spokesperson said.

During a search of the area, the BSF seized a hexacopter, three packets of heroin with gross weight of approximately 3.030 kg attached to it and an illuminating rubber ball.
