Regular checking is done at the main stations of the division to keep the railway stations clean and to prevent railway passengers from littering and make them aware about cleanliness. As a result, Rs 60,700 was recovered from 392 passengers in December as fine for littering in the station premises under the Anti-Littering Act.

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Sanjay Sahu said ticket checking campaigns will continue in Ferozepur division. The main objective of ticket checking is to improve the sale of train tickets and ensure that no passenger travels without a ticket. The target of zero ticketless travel has been set in Ferozepur Railway Division.
