The IIMTF is a leading name in exhibitions across India and this event marks the 271st exhibition organised by G.S. Marketing Associates.
The fair, jointly organised by The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry and G.S. Marketing Associates, has been specially arranged for the people of Amritsar. Visitors can explore a wide variety of products, strike business deals with companies from India and abroad, and enjoy the atmosphere of what organisers describe as a “shopping festival”.
Buoyed by the success of previous IIMTF events held in 13 cities across India, the organisers decided to bring the fair to Amritsar, which they described as a “dynamic city”.
The event was inaugurated in a grand ceremony by chief guest Harbhajan Singh, Punjab’s Minister for Power and Energy, on Saturday.
Founded in 1833, The Bengal Chamber of Commerce and Industry is the oldest and among the most respected institutions in India.
