Mentally unstable person ended life by shooting himself dead with his licensed weapon on Thursday night over a monetary dispute with his business partners. The deceased has been identified as Mandeep Singh (48), a resident of Rajoke village.

In her statement, Ramandeep Kaur, wife of the deceased, stated that he was a property advisor. She said Mandeep had business partners Prabhjit Singh, Paramjit Singh, Amarbir Singh, Arsh and Harman Singh, all residents of Sandhpur village. She said her husband’s partners were not giving him his due share since the past one year despite his repeated requests.

She said Mandeep went under depression and shot himself on Thursday night. Investigation officer ASI Surjit Singh said the four suspects had been booked under Section 108 of the BNS, 27 and Section 54 of the Arms Act by the Bhikhiwind police.
