A free medical check-up camp was organised for the elderly at Ayush Health and Wellness Centre, Manochahal Kalan, on Thursday. The camp was held under the supervision of Dr Sarabjit Kaur, District Ayurvedic/Unani Medical Officer, following instructions from the Department of Ayurveda.

A team of Ayurvedic medical officers — Dr Maninder Singh, Dr Sandeep Kumar and Dr Charu Arora — examined the patients and distributed free medicines. Those who came to the camp were also given tips on keeping themselves fit by practising yoga daily as per their physical condition. A paramedical staff of Amanpreet Singh, Anita Kaushal and Rajinder Kaur gave medicines to the patients. Yoga instructors Baljit Kaur and Sajanpreet Singh also guided the elderly with yoga exercises.
