A student of Guru Amardas Adarsh Institute Goindwal Sahib, Prabhleen Kaur, was honoured with the Best Student Award at a district-level function organised by Guru Arjan Dev Sahodaya, Tarn Taran.

The function was held at Mata Gujri Convent School, Sarhali Kalan, on Wednesday. The award was given away by Gurcharan kaur, principal of the local Mamta Niketan School.

Jatinderpal Singh Randhawa, director of the Guru Amar Das Adarsh Institute, said Prabhleen had been awarded for her hardworking nature, discipline and excellent performance in every field of education and co-curricular activities. Randhawa praised her for her initiative, responsibility and excellent participation in school activities.
