Guru Gobind Singh Convent School, Sohawa, organised its annual athletic meet (2025-26) at the school playground with great enthusiasm and high spirit. The event aimed to instil sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork and a sense of healthy competition among the students. The inaugural ceremony featured a colourful march-past presented by the students.

Students participated in a wide range of track and field events, including the 100m race, 200m race, relay race, long jump, high jump, shot put, tug-of-war and various fun runs for all classes. Teaching and non-teaching staff also took part in special events, adding to the excitement and joy of the celebration.

Prizes were distributed to the winners by Baba Hakam Singh and Ranjit Singh, president of the school’s managing committee. Vice-principal Anil Kumar encouraged students to embrace sports as an essential part of life.
