Tanish Gupta, a student of Woodland Overseas School topped the district by securing 98.6 per cent marks in Class XII result declared by the CBSE. He had also topped the district by attaining 99.98 percentile in JEE Mains held in January. He is the son of a cloth merchant and president of BJP District Vyapar Cell, Darpan Gupta. Tanish said he always aspired to be an engineer. He owed his success to his parents and teachers. He said his hardwork had been the key to his success.

Aditti, a student of the Cambridge International School, Dasuya, secured the second position in the district with 97.8 percent marks while Akshita of GMA City Public School, Singriwala, stood third with 97.6 percent marks.

In Chaudhary Balbir Singh Public School, Shriya Thakur stood first securing 96 per cent marks while Ananya Uppal remained second with 94.8 percent marks. The third position was bagged by Bhavya Sharma and Ananya who scored 94.4 percent marks.

Students of Woodland Overseas School also did well. As many as five students of the school Scored more than 95 per cent and 20 others got more than 90 per cent.

Cambridge International School Dasuya’s 38 students scored 90 per cent or above marks. Top five students in the school are- Aditti (97.8%), Parneet Kaur (97.4%), Anjali Pungotra (96.8), Navneet Saini (96.2%) and Manpreet Singh (96%).

As many as 19 students of Gems Cambridge International School got more than 90 per cent marks. Jasleen Minhas and Sana Vij remained first in the school securing 95.2 percent marks.

GMA City Public Schooln Singriwala’s, 11 students secured more than 90 per cent marks. This includes third in the district Akshita with 97.6 per cent marks, Jaspreet got 97 percent and stood second while Sukhpreet Kaur with 95.8 percent remained third and Ayshika Mahajan remained at fourth place with 92.8 percent marks.

Students of St Soldier Group of Institutions in Hoshiarpur also performed well Group Chairman Anil Chopra an Vice Chairperson Sangeeta Chopra told that in Garhshankar brach of school Indira Sharma topped by scoring 96 percent, Vanshika Verma stood second by scoring 94.2 percent while Vanshika verma stood third with 94.2 percent.In Tanda branch Harmanjot Kaur remained first with 94.8 per cent, Harchet Singh secured 91.8 and stood second while Sanamdeep Kaur third with 89.8 per cent marks. In Hoshiarpur — Una Road branch of the school, Kajal stood first with 89.4 per cent, Bharat second with 89.2 per cent and Deepakshi stood third with 88.4 per cent.
