The focus must be on education and health to make country join the ‘developed countries’ club. And given the goals being set, the Indian economy will double before 2030 and cross the mark of $6 trillion in size making it a super economic power.

Emphasising on these goals, various experts gathered at Khalsa College for Women (KCW) for a two-day national seminar on “Advancements in Research Methodology: Navigating the Path to Inclusive and Robust Knowledge”, shared that the targets of making it fourth largest economy within this decade was achievable due to the youth power and robust financial infrastructure in the country.

Dr Manjit Singh, Registrar, Jagat Guru Nanak Dev Open State University, Patiala, said in his inaugural address that parameters of the economy are strong. Rajinder Mohan Singh Chhina, honorary secretary, Khalsa College Governing Council, who was the chief guest at seminar, stressed on the need of adopting the ‘work culture’ by every citizen for the progress of the nation. He said human resource was most important in the development of any country. Dr Surinder Kaur, principal, and others, who spoke at the seminar included Dr Mandeep Kaur from GNDU, who highlighted the changing patterns of research methodologies.

Dr Balwinder Singh, the guest of honour, shared insights into the economic and financial infrastructure. The technical sessions were guided by eminent personalities including Dr Sanjay Rastogi from Central University, Kerala, Dr Abhay Jain, Dr Anuj, Dr Amardeep Kaur, Dr Nishcay Arora, Dr Aparna Bhatia, Dr Ridhima Saggar, Dr Saurabh Grover, Dr Renu Bhardwaj, Dr Harmeen Soch and Dr Sukhbir Kaur Mahal.
