Inner Wheel Club elects office-bearers

Tarn Taran, July 14

In a special meeting of the Inner Wheel Club held here on Saturday, Dr Monika Gupta was elected president of the Tarn Taran chapter for the year 2024-25. Her predecessor Dr Baljit Kaur said that the other office-bearers of the chapter were vice-president Anita Sood, secretary Dr Sukhbir Kaur, treasurer Dr Raman Dua, Dr Harsimran Kaur ISO and Rupinder Kaur, Editor.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Monika Gupta said all women’s organisations are working for the uplift of the underprivileged and downtrodden sections of society. She said that the club’s prime concern will be empowerment of girl child and women, environmental protection, cervical cancer vaccination and drive against drug abuse and illiteracy.

Dr Amninder Kaur, Pushpinder Kaur, Prabhjeet Kaur, Mandeep Kaur, Dr Gagan Patti, Sandhya Sood, Harjit Chawla, Jaspal Kaur, Ishwar Jot, Gurmeet Kaur, Amandeep Kaur and Dr Kamaljeet Kochar addressed the gathering.
