Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said the police seized two pistols of .32 bore caliber and one pistol of .30 bore from their possession. The bike on which they were travelling was also seized.

He said following specific information that the accused were involved in the interstate smuggling of firearms, a naka was put up near the goddess Bhadarkali temple near Katra Khazana where they were arrested. He said a case under the Arms Act was registered against them at the Gate Hakima police station here.

Kamal Singh already had an FIR registered against him on similar charges and Section 125 of the BNS in September last year at the Gate Hakima police station. Further probe was on to unearth the entire nexus.
