District Sessions Judge Dilbagh Singh Johal, who is also Chairman, District Legal Services Authority (DSLA), and Harpreet Singh, Secretary of the DLSA, toured Dharamkot Randhawa, Haruwal, Ratta Abdal and Dharamkot Pattan villages where they interacted with children of primary, middle and senior secondary schools.

The judges had earlier asked for a list of poor students from the DEO (Secondary and Primary). A list of 16 schools in which 450 children studied was provided to the judges.

In a school at Rattar Chattar, a school girl informed the judges that the supply of drinking water was contaminated. She wanted the judges to arrange an RO for safe drinking water. The judges ordered an RO and immediately got it installed. The jurists exhorted students to work hard so that they could be good citizens of the country.
