Slain Sikh human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra’s wife won’t contest the Tarn Taran Assembly bypoll. Paramjit Kaur Khalra is the patron of the Khalra Mission Organisation (KMO). Jaswant Singh Khalra who was killed by the police in 1995.

She is currently settled in the US. Harmandeep Singh Sarhali, president of the KMO, said they had informed all that she would not contest the poll.
