Khalsa College team bag football title

The team of Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Sarhali, bagged the title in the recently concluded

Inter-College Football Tournament organised by Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Principal of the college Dr Jasbir Singh informed that the team members were honoured by Baba Sukha Singh, patron of the college managing committee, at a simple function held in the college on Tuesday.

Dr Amandeep Singh, a teacher, said that the college team in the B-Division defeated the teams of Sant Baba Dalip Singh College, Domeli, Khalsa College, Chawinda Devi and that of the Guru Nanak Navbharat College, Narot past (Kapurthala). The college team was also declared the champion in national style kabaddi in the tournament for B-division colleges. Baba Sukha Singh also honoured the players for their remarkable performance in the ‘Khedan Vatan Punjab Dian’ 2024 event.

Baba Sukha Singh said that the college has arranged for all possible facilities for the players.
