Activists of the Kisan Mazdoor Sangharsh Committee (KMSC), Punjab, staged a dharna in front of the District Administrative Complex here on Wednesday and burnt an effigy of the state and Central governments. The protest is part of the Pakka Morcha organised by the Committee.

District president Satnam Singh Manochahal is leading the Morcha which saw huge participation from men, women, farmers and labourers.KMSC leaders flayed the administration for not releasing compensation to six activists who laid down their lives while participating in the Morcha at Shambhu and Khanauri border. The KMSC leaders also demanded the repair of link roads in the border and Mand areas.
