The event, jointly hosted by the department of architecture, Guru Ramdas School of Planning, and the department of education, honoured the supreme sacrifice made by the Guru, the legacy of his disciples Bhai Mati Dass, Bhai Sati Dass, and Bhai Dyal Dass — revered as ‘the great redeemers’.
Vice-Chancellor Karamjeet Singh delivered the presidential remarks, lauding the collaborative efforts of the departments and underscoring the importance of such seminars in imparting values of courage, compassion, and selflessness.
He said the expert lecture series, which began on November 10 and will continue until November 25, aimed to deepen academic engagement with heritage, architecture, and moral philosophy.
