Sadeek (42), residing in Miani locality near Goindwal Sahib, was beaten to death by his wife and her two brothers on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.

ASI Rajpal Singh said the accused were identified as Meena, victim’s wife, and Ammi and Shahdeen. He said there was a verbal duel between Meena and her husband Sadeek at night, after which her beat him up with a brick and a wooden stick, and hit him in the chest, leading to his death. A case has been registered against the accused.
