In the morning, Sarabjit Kaur made a mobile phone call to one Sukhraj Singh, a resident of Dall village, a close relative of Harmandeep. The information was received by Gurdev Singh, who along with Simran Singh Simmu, a resident of Dall village, went to the residence of Sarabjit Kaur.

Observing the condition of Harmandeep Singh, they took him to a private hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
