The Verka police have arrested Gurpinder Singh alias Joshan, a resident of Thatha village falling under Lopoke police station, for possessing 499 gm of heroin.

Following a tip-off, the accused was caught near the Verka milk plant. A case under the NDPS Act has been registered against him.
