Man mistakenly consumes poison, dies

A 34-year-old man, Gurshinder Singh, died under mysterious circumstances in his native village, Mughal Chak Pannuan.

According to Baldev Singh, the father of the deceased, Gurshinder mistakenly consumed a poisonous substance at home. The family discovered him unconscious the following morning and rushed him to a local private hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

ASI Amarjit Singh stated that a report has been registered under Section 174 of the CrPC based on the statement provided by the father. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
