Following a call given by the Master Cadre Union, Punjab, government school teachers organised protests in different schools on Wednesday and burnt ‘Larian Di Pand’ (bundle of alleged delaying tactics) of the state government.

Gurmeet Singh Bhullar, district president of the union, said the teachers in different schools in Tarn Taran, Patti, Khadoor Sahib and Bhikhiwind sub-divisions have been stressing on the revival of allowances that were stopped, reinstatement of Old Pension Scheme and fulfilling of other demands.
