It is learnt that the supply of tablet buprenorphine (primarily used for treatment of drug patients) has been erratic for last one month across 16 such centres of the district.

Patients complain that their dose has already been reduced forcefully regardless of their condition and requirement. For the last month, even that has not been provided properly. For the last few days, medicine has been stopped or halved due to the dire shortage of medicines at OOAT centres in the district. — OC
