Mega sanitation drive in Kakka Kandiala village to continue till Oct 2

‘Mega Shramdaan’ was organised in Kakka Kandiala village on Thursday under ‘Swachhta Hi Seva Abhiyan’ as per the guidelines issued by Tarn Taran Deputy Commissioner Rahul. A large number of the village residents took part in the drive. The campaign is to run till October 2, under ‘One Day, One Hour’ together with the support of Water Supply and Sanitation Department and Kakka Kandiala Gram Panchayat in Tarn Taran.

Cleanliness activities were carried out in the village on the occasion. Jagdish Singh, District Sanitation Officer-cum-Executive Engineer from the Water Supply and Sanitation Department, participated and all those who came to be a part of the campaign were urged to create a clean environment around them. Kartik Vermani, Sub-Divisional Engineer, Lucky Nagpal, Junior Engineer, Sukhwinder Singh, Block Coordinator, Jagdeep Singh, IEC District Coordinator, all field staff besides members of the village panchayat were present along with the residents.
