Miscreants stole donation from Gurdwara Singh Sabha in Muradpur locality here on the intervening night of February 1 and 2. The incident was noticed by sewadaar Rachhpal Singh of the gurdwara on Friday morning.

He told the police that he noticed that the locks of the main gate and the golak were broken and donation worth Rs 45,000 was stolen. Devotees were shocked by the incident.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Nishan Singh of the city police said a case under Sections 380 and 457 of the IPC was registered in this regard.
