The Virsa Vihar Society dedicated the 100th birth anniversary of Mohammad Rafi by hosting a special ceremony at Virsa Vihar. Members of the society, led by noted theatre person Kewal Dhaliwal, unveiled a statue of Mohammad Rafi installed at Virsa Vihar.

On the occasion, theatre students, who came to the National Theatre Workshop organised by the National School of Drama, Delhi, at Virsa Vihar, participated in a session on the life and professional journey of Rafi. National School of Drama alumni theatre person Partho Banerjee and Pritpal Rupana were also present with them. A seminar and musical programme dedicated to the 100th birth anniversary of Rafi Sahib will be hosted on December 29 at Virsa Vihar.
