The principal informed that Vikramjeet Singh was the only cadet selected from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh and was among the 10 cadets selected at the national level.

Sub Lt Dr Gaurav Sharma, ANO, NCC Navy, informed that the cadet crossed the equator on August 19, which itself was a matter of pride for the college. He informed that NCC naval wing cadets get such opportunities on international and national platforms which may prove to be once in a lifetime experience for them.

For this rare feat, Principal Dr Gupta appreciated the role of Ajay Sharma, the commanding officer of 2 Punjab Naval unit, NCC Amritsar, for ensuring rigorous and meticulous training of the NCC naval wing cadets.
