NCC cadets donate blood

The event saw participation from NCC cadets of various institutes, including Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College, Sarhali, Guru Nanak Dev University and Hindu College.
Captain Pradeep Kumar addressed the gathering, highlighting the benefits of blood donation. “Donating blood not only helps save lives but also promotes the formation of new blood cells in the body, keeping it healthy,” he said.
NCC Officer Sukhpal Singh Sandhu emphasised the role of NCC cadets in social welfare activities. “NCC cadets are trained to assist in critical situations. And blood donation is one such noble cause that can help save countless lives,” he added.
Dr Mohit, In-charge of the blood bank, expressed gratitude towards the NCC staff and students for their participation. “Their selfless act will go a long way in saving lives,”" he said, felicitating the students and NCC staff on behalf of Parvati Devi management.
The event was attended by Subedar Major Labh Singh, Lieutenant Jaspal Singh, Subedar Gurdev Singh, BHM Harvinder Singh, Havaldar Sohan Singh and other NCC cadets.
