National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets who lifted the All-India Thal Sainik Camp trophy were honoured by senior officials here today. They bagged 42 medals in various events during the camp. Brig KS Bawa, Commander, Amritsar NCC Group, felicitated the cadets of the Amritsar group part of Thal Sena and Nau Sena Camp teams that won the trophy in the boys’ category at the AITSC camp in Delhi.

The directorate team of 91 cadets was trained at Ropar under Brig KS Bawa, Chief Training Officer, and a training team led by Col AK Sharma, VSM, CO 7 Pb NCC Bn, Gurdaspur. Rigorous training was imparted to the team at the Ropar NCC Academy for 2 months. Brig KS Bawa praised the efforts put in by the cadets in achieving the success.
