Councillor Inderjit Singh Pandori with the support and participation of local residents inaugurated the tubewell.
Speaking on the occasion, Pandori said residents of the area had been facing severe hardships due to a prolonged shortage of water. With the commissioning of this new tubewell, the problem would now be resolved to a great extent. He further mentioned that fulfilling promises made during the civic body elections was his responsibility, and he is committed to stand by his word.
Pandori assured that residents will not face any shortage of basic amenities, including roads, streets, drainage systems and other civic facilities. “My focus is on resolving problems of ward residents on a priority basis,” he said.
Local residents also expressed their happiness and gratitude, noting that due to water shortage, children, elderly, and women were facing immense difficulties. The new tubewell had brought much-needed relief, they said.
