Following the interrogation of a vehicle lifter, the Division D police recovered eight stolen bikes and a scooter on his disclosure.

Malook Singh, alias Bhoja, of Satnam Nagar, Jhabal road, now residing at Thathgarh in Tarn Taran, was arrested by the police with a stolen bike two days ago.

Mohit Kumar, SHO, said he was arrested with a stolen scooter two days ago. He was produced in a court and brought on police remand for further investigations. Following his disclosure, the police seized eight bikes from him.

He said the accused had three FIRs registered against him of similar nature. Further probe was still underway, he added.
