Nine youths who have been receiving physical coaching and guidance for the written test from Master Karam Singh, a retired lecturer from the Education Department, Punjab, have cleared the exam to be recruited as Agniveer in the Army. The test was conducted on June 30 and the results were announced today (Saturday).

Master Karam Singh informed here today that these youths have great zeal to serve their country. They are Nishan Singh, Vishaldeep Singh, Satnam Singh, Jashanpreet Singh, Sehajpreet Singh, Arashdeep Singh, Karanpreet Singh, Jashanpreet Singh and Prince Singh. These youths were among the more than 50 youths practicing at the ground of the local SD Seva Devi College. Master Karam Singh (65), who has been giving free coaching to the youth, said as many as 180 youths coached by him have been recruited in the military and paramilitary forces.
