Mona Singh shared that the conclave was a landmark celebration of women-led change, resilience and leadership. The event brought together distinguished leaders, policymakers, changemakers and visionaries from across India to honour their remarkable contributions towards empowerment, equality and nation-building.

FLO Amritsar chapter has spearheaded several initiatives for women-led start-ups and upskilling programmes for rural women. Their flagship initiatives include heritage crafts revival including providing upskilling and selling platform to artisans of crafts like Phulkari and Thatera. They are also working to train young rural women farmers in drone technology under the Drone Didi (Drone Sister) project, which engages government nodal agencies along with FLO network for hands-on training and infrastructure building.

FLO chapter has also entered into an MoU with Khalsa College for Women for a dedicated programme that focuses on creating upskilling and employment opportunities for its students. The FLO network would also provide support for registration of MSMEs, government subsidies and workshops to engage with women with focus on self-employment.
