Workers of the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) on Friday took out a march in the town against the rising prices of fuel. They also burnt an effigy of the Union Government.

Addressing on the occasion, Hrithik Arora, state leader of the union, said the rising fuel prices, especially petrol and diesel, had upset the daily budget of the common man, who was finding it difficult to make ends meet.

He said the alleged wrong policies of the Union Government would be the main cause of the downfall of the Modi-led Central Government. He said the Assembly elections due next year in the state would be the litmus test for the Union Government.
