In her address, DGP Dwivedi emphasised that, in line with the state government’s zero-tolerance policy towards drugs, the Punjab Police are taking strict legal action against drug traffickers. She said under Operation Sampark, meetings are being held in public spaces and educational institutions to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

She informed participants that individuals caught in the cycle of addiction are being admitted to de-addiction centres, motivated to quit drugs and supported in their recovery. She urged the attendees to actively support the ongoing anti-drug campaign.
