Amritsar: Sri Guru Harkrishan Senior Secondary Public School (SGHPS), GT Road, hosted the opening ceremony of the newly built state-of-the-art skating rink. It was inaugurated by chief guest Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar, president, Chief Khalsa Diwan. Later, proud achievers of CBSE Class XII exams, including Bavkiran Kaur (97%), Divleen Kaur (96%) and other merit holders, who scored 85% and above were honoured with certificates and medals. Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjar congratulated the teachers, students and their parents. Reminiscing about his student life, he gave a message to the students to be the bearer of moral qualities along with studies and inspired them to improve their personality as an all-rounder.

ORIENTATION SESSION FOR BUS DRIVERS

Fifty bus drivers of Revel Dale Public School attended the orientation session conducted by Principal Rajiv Arora. In the session, students, who help teachers in maintaining discipline in the school buses, were also present. Arora told the drivers to give top priority to security of the students. Even time taken to drop the students and comfort of the students are important, the security of the students should be given top priority. All the drivers agreed on this main point of keeping the children safe and secure. They were made to understand that fast driving can endanger human lives.
