Dhaliwal said that the Lok Darbar serves as a platform for resolving issues, redressing complaints and gathering feedback from villagers. The initiative, now in its third year, aims to foster transparency and accountability in governance, he said.

The approved projects would be executed in the near future, focusing on the development of Ajnala constituency, said Dhaliwal, an MLA from the area.

Dhaliwal emphasised upon the importance of community participation, inviting villagers to bring forth common works for discussion during the Lok Darbar. He said that this approach enables the government to prioritise projects based on local needs and promotes collective decision-making.
