This was part of the Child Education Excellence Project.
Help a Child of India has been working on child-centric community development with focus on getting children out of pockets of poverty and designing inclusive education programmes.
Under the guidance of Dr Balbinder Singh, the students studied different types of intelligence parameters in children, such as their thinking skills, creativity spatial and linguistic abilities and other talents. The goal was to facilitate practical training and help the NGO improve the children’s education.
The students interacted with the children, selected through Help a Child of India’s beneficiaries, observed their strengths and shared their findings with the NGO. Dr Balbinder Singh said, “This project not only gives our students hands-on learning but also helps improve education for underprivileged children.” The NGO’s Community Education Coordinator, Rekha Bhatti, praised the collaboration, saying the findings will greatly help in creating better teaching methods for the children.
