Degrees were conferred on 200 students of various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Outstanding sportswomen of the college were also honoured.

The principal, in her extempore, exhorted the students to become responsible citizens. “College education gives an opportunity for students to improve the quality of life and also provides opportunities for them to fulfil their dreams to have a career. There are financial and other advantages of getting a college degree. Research suggests the longer a person remains in college, the better he will perform in life. So be prepared to adjust to the crests and troughs of life,” she told the students.
