City-based Regional Provident Fund office settled 5,593 cases in August. Of these, 1,921 claims were settled within three days. Officials of the Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) took up the grievances of subscribers and resolved them on the spot during “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” programme organised by the EPFO, Amritsar, last evening.

Under the guidance of Regional Provident Fund Commissioner, Nodal Officers held discussions with employers, employees and pension holders about new initiatives taken recently by the EPFO. Their grievances were also resolved on the spot. The Nodal Officers discussed issues related to final EPF withdrawal, transfer of EPF accounts, understanding account profile, KYC and UAN through a unified portal and UMANG app for subscribers and pension holders.
