The date for voters’ enrolment for the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) general elections has been extended till September 16.
The office of the Chief Gurdwara Election Commission has sent a communication to the deputy commissioners of various districts in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh in this regard. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
