The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports has announced the launch of the second edition of the ‘Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue’ (VBYLD-2026), a flagship initiative aimed at providing India’s youth (aged 15-29 years) with a national platform to present their ideas directly to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Deputy Director, My Bharat initiative here, Jasleen Kaur, said following the overwhelming response to VBYLD-2025, which saw the participation of over 30 lakh youth, the 2026 edition promises to be bigger in scale and scope. She said the new edition would introduce dedicated tracks such as Design for Bharat and Tech for Viksit Bharat — Hack for a Social Cause, besides inviting international participation for the first time.

Giving details, she said the multi-stage selection process would include a series of quizzes, essay writing, PPT challenges and cultural competitions. The initiative would culminate in a grand finale in New Delhi from January 10 to 12, 2026, where 3,000 youth leaders from across India would be gathered to showcase their vision for a developed nation, she said.

She said the registrations for VBYLD-2026 are now open on the MY Bharat portal (mybharat.gov.in) while adding that the first quiz round would run until October 15, 2025.

She urged youth to actively participate in the initiative. She said for more details or assistance, the interested participants could contact the Amritsar office at 7006949560.
